A few useful terms.

Updated October 19, 2026. Scout Theory LLC publishes this planning guide.

Planning, not a reservation

Our routes and comparisons are editorial suggestions. Saving, printing or sharing a trip does not book it. Confirm current access, opening times, pricing, transport, suitability and conditions directly with the provider.

Bookings and payments

Third-party providers control their availability, inclusions, payment, cancellation and refund terms. Read those terms before paying. A private-tour inquiry is a request to discuss a plan, not acceptance of a booking.

Commercial relationships

PrivateToursMedellin.co is a related Scout Theory service. GetYourGuide links use affiliate tracking and may earn us a commission from qualifying bookings. Search links can return unrelated results; inspect each listing.
